BEST Feature: CK Silver

This week I bring you CK Silver, Handcrafted Sterling Silver Jewelry...albeit a little late. I guess that is what I get for not scheduling before I leave for vacation. Although I did get home in time...but who knew the power would be out for a few days. Ick with a side of Ugh...and in 90 plus degree weather.
This mother and daughter team gives us classic pieces in my favorite format - silver! Cindy's creative interests lie "both in jewelry and in marketing and graphic design". Her mother, Marilyn, has "always loved wearing silver jewelry." She says that is was natural for her to create using the silver. There styles may vary, but as you will see, they work wonderfully blended together.
So let's show off some of the shiny silver goodies! This anklet is so perfect for the summertime with all the skirts I wear.
And for my ears which you can now see all the time with my short hair...

BEST Feature: Our Home to Yours

This shop is a team effort. Amanda gets to play with the yarn and Debbi gets to go nuts with the jewelry. One thing I just love about this shop...you will not be seeing double. To quote them:
"When Amanda and Debbi create something, we almost never re-make it.
Why? I dunno, we just like to try new things all the time *grin*."
Why? I dunno, we just like to try new things all the time *grin*."
That is one idea I can totally relate to! As much as I would like to make just one of each design, I just can't. It's more like half a dozen of the same design...too much time spent fiddling with the pattern not to :P So I am super envious that they manage to do it. And so wonderfully!
So let's stop talking about the fab one-of-a-kind pieces and start showing them!

Safari Shopping Spree
Okay - time for some fun! Virtual shopping time courtesy the BEST Team (Boosting Etsy Shops Team). I am new to the team and jumped at the chance to host this week's Shopping Safari. I debated on picking a theme. Possibly room by room or clothing style by style or even color. But I chose to just dive in & just "get" what I have had my eye on for a while now.
Let's start with some newer goodies I found when I joined the team and checked out the roster. Commence wallet opening....we start with $1000...let's see how far we get...
Brain in a Jar by Organ Grinder
$26
Down to $95....I've been needing a spare brain for quite some time now :P
And in case I decide to give any of these as gifts...
I am sure I could bring it down to zero...but who likes an empty wallet?
Go see what you would do with a virtual $1000...you just might find something that is real-life-wallet worthy :)
note: This post (with minor alterations is also posted on the BEST blog...so if you visit there, don't worry, you aren't losing your mind - you have seen this before :)

BEST Feature: Off the Wall Expressions
As many of you know, I had my home redone last summer. New floors, new kitchen, newly painted walls. I still have not hung anything permanent on them. And after seeing this shop...I could keep the walls hole-less AND still have them decorated.
This Boy design would be a great entryway into my youngest's room.
And my oldest, well, he is a carnivore. With bacon being at the top of his pyramid. When he heads off to college in a couple years, I could so see this decorating his dorm...

Now, as much as I love the funny, this one would rock my sewing area. I could jot notes right there on the wall without putting a single hole in the wall. And chalk - always fun :)
Be sure to check out their blog to learn even more and see what's new.
