Safari Shopping Spree

Okay - time for some fun! Virtual shopping time courtesy the BEST Team (Boosting Etsy Shops Team). I am new to the team and jumped at the chance to host this week's Shopping Safari. I debated on picking a theme. Possibly room by room or clothing style by style or even color. But I chose to just dive in & just "get" what I have had my eye on for a while now.

BEST Feature: Off the Wall Expressions

Link
As many of you know, I had my home redone last summer. New floors, new kitchen, newly painted walls. I still have not hung anything permanent on them. And after seeing this shop...I could keep the walls hole-less AND still have them decorated.

I give you Off the Wall Expressions, a vinyl wall art and lettering company run by Tina and Mick, a husband and wife team. No wonder you can find so much humor in their shop LOL! Okay, so there are more sweet and serious designs too, but snark & quirk win me over every time.

This Boy design would be a great entryway into my youngest's room.

And my oldest, well, he is a carnivore. With bacon being at the top of his pyramid. When he heads off to college in a couple years, I could so see this decorating his dorm...

Now, as much as I love the funny, this one would rock my sewing area. I could jot notes right there on the wall without putting a single hole in the wall. And chalk - always fun :)

BEST Feature: Sandy's Soaps and Things

Meet Sandy. She is a self taught crafter who is always telling herself, "I think can make that". So she does. Although this New Englander does tend to enjoy soaps, knitting and jewelry making the most. ANd her animals too of course...along with all the little furries that she sits during the day. Animals and crafters...does it get much better than that???

So let's get to the goodies...

I just love soaps. Vanilla and sugar scrubs are my faves - and this Brown Sugar Scrub fits the bill to a T...

This one may look appetizing...but don't eat the soap...

And just in time for Next month's premiere...in a lovely shade of blue and scent of a fresh, clean ocean...Ravenclaw House Soap.

She has another shop on Etsy, Monster Love Madness, where her little monsters reside. I was quite taken with Penelope here....

And don't stop at her shops...pop on over to her blog for a further look into all things Sandy.

BEST Feature: Danizabeth

Today's BEST shop is Danizabeth.

"With a passion for the look of all things retro and nostalgic... This is my little collection of the images of yesteryear frozen in present day. I hope my photos can take you back to a beloved memory and escape the hustle and bustle of life."

She has a career in graphic design, but as you will see, she has a definite flair with the camera. She shows us the beauty in the old and the rundown. Here are a
couple of my favorites:

One Headlight

Packin' Up
